When you mix golden sunsets and rhinos on your wedding day, you are sure to have a day that everyone will remember.
Lezanne and Wiehahn’s love story started like any good romance novel… in Bela Bela. Falling in love in school. What a privilege to meet your forever person in school and getting to spend the rest of your lives together.
The day started off at the foothills of the great Waterberg Mountains in Limpopo province with the groom getting ready at his childhood home with his adorable dashund Okkie constantly at his side and the bride being spoilt at the Baobab spa at Buyskop Lodge.
We’ve managed to capture some tear-jerking moments when Lezanne walked down the isle of the striking Reformed Church in Bela Bela.
From here we drove to the reception that was held at Thaba Manzi. This stunning venue with beautiful landscaped gardens, fountains and fire pits with countless other small touches that is flanked by authentic African bushveld was the perfect backdrop to an unforgettable couple’s shoot. We started off taking images with sunlight filtering though the brides veil and ended with golden skies on the horizon.
The highlight of the day was a once in a lifetime experience where we got to create images with endangered white rhinos that loves tummy rubs…. really, I kid you not. What an amazing experience.
The open and airy reception area at Thaba Manzi was beautifully decorated with Hand-made, croche’d placemats and splashes of deep red flowers on every table adding a personal touch to their special day.
With guests dancing and relaxing on the wide stoep, and under the night sky, the day came to an end. What a wonderful day it was!
The love Wiehahn and Lezanne share for each other was evident in every hug and kiss they shared during the day.
I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together.
